When Should You Start Choosing Your Songs?

Song selection typically happens during the music consultation, which takes place after you book but well before your wedding day. Most couples finalize their song list 4 to 8 weeks before the wedding. This gives you plenty of time to browse the Subito Strings song list, listen to recordings, and discuss options with Rebecca Chung. There is no rush to have every song decided at booking. Some couples know exactly what they want from day one. Others prefer to take their time, browsing our playlist builder and sending Rebecca ideas as they come. If you want a custom arrangement of a song not in the existing repertoire, allow at least 4 weeks for the arrangement to be written and rehearsed. Popular custom arrangement requests include first dance songs, culturally significant pieces, and songs with personal meaning to the couple.

We only accept one wedding per day to ensure each event receives our full attention and the best available musicians. The remaining 50% balance is due 10 days before your wedding.
